but they were happy tears. I gave this to Victoria the other day when I went to see Jacob (and see if she needed to go have a shower/eat/nap/pee/shop!). Happy to say he is doing very well - they are doing very well - he is gaining weight and looks just wonderful!

Kelli made one of these for her aunt's new puppy, and I thought the idea was absolutely perfect for Victoria's baby gift... so, of course, I copied it! Kelli cut the letters on her QK Silhouette - LOVE that thing!

better late than never...

right? I copied Kelli's idea, and made this little book for my Mom for Mother's Day... they weren't in town last weekend, so I (had time to finish it! and) will give it to her today.

Stamp - A - Stack

Had my first ever SAS today... at 0930, no less! It went well - the girls loved the cards, and they were all out the door with 12 completed cards by 12:30.

My fire alarm beeped & woke me up when the power went out this morning around 5am... while I was downstairs looking for a new battery for my clock, I had a second rude awakening:

Double checked the calendar - it is, in fact, APRIL 19th? Yes. Blinked really hard to see if my sleepy eyes were just unable to discern the difference between dirty windows and that white stuff that falls in the WINTER time?? No. Not my sleepy eyes... it was snowing, and it snowed all morning! Kelli phoned around 0730 to inform me that I would need to shovel before my class...

My friends Victoria & Richard had a little surprise in the wee hours of April 4th, when their son decided to arrive... about 7 weeks early! He's fine... thank goodness! Tiny, but fine, & oh so perfect! I couldn't get foot or hand shots yet because he has to be kept warm & is all bundled up, but here are some pics from his first 'shoot' yesterday - 11 days old:

I got a couple of really nice ones of Jacob with his mommy but was only given permission to blog Mr. J. for now - I'll work on his mommy!
